It was a busy day. I was distracted. I could make up a dozen excuses, but the fact remains:
I emailed the wrong person.
I selected the first name that popped up in my email address book without confirming I had spelled it correctly. By the time I hit send, I didn’t even think twice – until a poor woman responded in confusion.
She responded so graciously, as I apologized profusely.
Sometimes it’s hard for us hero folk to remember that we’re still human. We work so hard to keep everything running and make everyone happy. So often our failures are met with condemnation and are displayed for the world to see. (It’s no wonder Batman, Iron Man, and the X-Men were rejected by those they served – they were villainized on national TV!)
Remeber that your tech-heroes are human. They will do their best to serve, but even they have off days.
